The Hangar

A bespoke new-build automotive facility designed for flexibility, innovation and exceptional customer experience. We delivered the complete electrical installation for The Hangar at the Dick Lovett Bristol Campus, working in partnership with LSC Electrical on this significant new-build project.

Designed as a bespoke, unbranded automotive facility, The Hangar provides a sophisticated showroom, modern offices and a fully equipped workshop, together with a specialist battery repair facility. The building also provides essential flexibility for the Dick Lovett Group, enabling continued business operations while other dealerships undergo refurbishment and providing additional showroom and workshop capacity when required. Working with LSC Electrical to deliver a comprehensive electrical package throughout the 2,750m² development, including power distribution, architectural and general lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, data and communications, EV charging infrastructure and associated electrical services.

Particular attention was given to the electrical installation within the showroom and customer areas, where bespoke lighting and high-quality finishes form an important part of the overall architectural design. The installation also incorporated the specialist requirements of the workshop and battery repair areas, providing a robust and future-ready electrical infrastructure. Working closely with the wider project team we coordinated the electrical works throughout the construction programme, from initial first-fix installation through to testing, commissioning and final handover.

The completed Hangar is a striking addition to the Dick Lovett Bristol Campus and demonstrates our experience in delivering large-scale, high-specification electrical installations within the automotive sector, combining technical expertise, careful coordination and attention to detail.
